Start-ups & Chills Open Source Community

Chills offer for start-ups

Many start-ups use new technology to solve an existing need in a better way. New physical products require application integration, use Sensors (IoT) or need to deliver data to the end user. In most start-up cases management, monitoring and security of data becomes quickly a vital part of their offering.

Entrepreneurs find in Chills a reliable partner in realising their business plan at a low cost. Included is on-line support through webinars or one to one meetings. Chills is scalable and owned by the customer.

Watch our video’s/podcast to understand our vision and how the Chills backend will realise this.

Test our Business case, White-papers and Sales presentation with your network by downloading the Start-up package below. No strings attached.

Book your free start-up introduction how to realise your business idea using low code technology. Contact us either after testing the Sales/Start-up package or right now!

Chills opens new ways of creating and delivering value to customers. Read how our Norwegian customer Subtrackr managed to change its entire digital core in 9 days using Chills.

Scale up with Chills

Start-ups with a new offering embedded in new technology quickly expand across their national borders. The scale up of their offering must go seamless and is dependent on a flexible and integrated digital backbone. Integrate Chills in your solution making it scalable and easy to adjust, matching international customer demands. Our hosting partners easily meet demands to increase data processing capacity.

Integration tool versus Chills Backend

Today many integration tools exist and major hosting providers have integration tools available as a service. Integrations is just one of the many services Chills offers. In addition, Chills delivers multiple data management tools and has monitoring capabilities. Testing of new data flows is part of the Backend offering. Services like receiving data from other applications or sensors (IoT) can be created in Chills. Every low code functionality created in Chills is administered using categorisation and visible in a graphical format.

Startups only needing simple integrations are advised to review tools like Zapier and Integrera. Integrate Chills at a later date with these integration tools, to prevent an migration with associated costs and risks.

Open Source Community

Chills Backend for developers

Independent developers learn how to work with new low code technology. They receive access to all backend functionality to experiment with data processing, automation and integration with external data sources, IoT, machines or robots. Education is an important part of our service delivery. It includes webinars, seminars, meetings, tutorials and instruction videos, which are under continuous development,

The Chills Community is becoming operational Q2 2023. The description below is how the Backend functions today.

Developers' valuable input

You input is very valuable, and a discord channel supports the discussion of topics. Dynamic Integrations, being the Chills Backend owner, participates actively in these discussions. Potential good ideas or insights are evaluated and become part of the Chills roadmap.

Low code replacing hard coding

Low coding and no-coding are the new technologies on the block. They partly or completely reduce the need for hard coding, having an immediate impact on the development speed and time to release.

Chills has divided hard code into three levels of low coding. In each level you create a part of the integration/automation while still having access to the hard coding.

Backend access

At this level you create Datasources connections through their API’s. Datasources contains tables with data made visible in the Backend.

Adapter management

Adapters make the connection between Datasources. Different Adapter types are available, each fulfilling another purpose.

Data Flow creation

In an Adapter you process data using the graphically interface. Chills provides standard tools, actions and events to speed up and simplify your development work.

Access to datasources

The first step is to serve data from an API to set up a functional datasource.

Manage Adapters

Choose the right Adapter type and connect data with a destination source of your choice.

Output data can be sent to; AI, IoT, robotics, Big Data repositories, etc.

Create data flow

Connect the incoming data with a destination source of your choice. Output data is  send to; AI, IoT, robotics, Big Data repositories, etc. as long as an API is available.

Test and monitor data flows

Each data flow has a dashboard with its most crucial parameters.

Action Designer

In an action unique data processing can be written in hard code programming languages. Chills currently supports NodeJS and Python. Open or create an Action and get access to the hard code designer. Saving your work means it is saved within the Action.

Monitor data flow events and server activity

An Event log to the left shows information and errors from a data flow. The Server Console to the right registers all server activity related to the flow.

Community interaction

Actions made by the community can be shared using the marketplace. The Backend chat facilitates communication between community members.
